About us:
three generations, one shared thread

Sant’Andrea Restaurant Rome: a family-run Roman table, serving traditional Roman cuisine in Rome’s historic center. We’ve been here since 1940, a short walk from the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain.

About us: A story that began in the 1920s—and continues here since 1940

Our story begins in the 1920s, when the restaurant first appeared in local guides. Since 1940, we’ve welcomed guests in these same rooms—near the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain—beneath the Baroque lantern of the Basilica of Sant’Andrea delle Fratte, which inspired our name and symbol.

Ingredients, territory, care

We’ve stayed faithful to the dishes that tell the story of the city: trippa, ossobuco, saltimbocca, amatriciana, gricia, cacio e pepe and carbonara.
Over time we’ve added new ideas—always guided by the same principle: local products, quality ingredients, and suppliers we trust. These details may not shout, but they change everything.
